SOUS celebrated its 31st Annual Athletic Meet on the 23rd of November, 2023, fostering in its students a sense of companionship and unity for a #bettertomorrow. The morning was filled with great zeal, excitement, and a frolicsome atmosphere. The program began with the March past, followed by the torch relay and Oath-taking ceremony. The Vice Principal, Mrs. Tanushree Mitra, in her address to the students, laid emphasis on the need to participate, stating that it is not important to win; it is participation that makes all the difference. The event began with the students participating in a great amalgamation of track and field events and some interesting yet fun races. They tested their strength in various events such as the 100-meter track event, hurdle and relay races. The races were a thrilling sprint in track and field, epitomizing the fusion of speed and endurance. The winners were awarded medals and certificates, and Air House was declared the best house for a #bettertomorrow.
